Alpha King Kael threw himself into the room in his usual commanding way. His body swaying with the strength at which he carried himself.

His eyes fell on me the instant he walked in, and he came right to me. He made just a lazy glance at Rhea, and then his eyes settled on me. “I have been searching all over the palace for you, Lysara.” He said. “What are you doing here?”

“And why can't she be here?” Rhea demanded, her eyes as cold as her tone.
