Edward knocked on the door. He heard a faint “come in,” so he pushed the door open and walked in.

“Your Majesty,” he greeted his king with a bow.

“Hm,” Wymond hummed in response.

“I just got news from Her Highness’s secret bodyguard.”

Wymond paused what he was doing at the mention of his mate. He raised his head and nodded at Edward to continue.

“Her Highness has asked her brother for help.”

“Help?” ...
