The room was dim when my eyes moved to the door.

I swear it was Leo I saw them, grinning like he'd won a prize.

But when my eyes cleared, it wasn’t Leo standing there.

It was Damien.

Was it the fear? Or paranoia now slipping in.

My mind drifted back to Damein as he stepped inside my room.
