"Alexa, we need to come up with a plan," Nana insisted as she stopped me from running after Lucy.

"And what the heck do you think I'm trying to do?" I retorted, yanking her hands off.

"Not like this, Luna," her lips formed into a thin line. "We need to devise another means of communication, because I doubt we would have a chance together."
