I race downstairs and realize the warriors on injured reserve from yesterday are already lined up and waiting for me to release them. I step up to the first one, but before I can ask anything, one of the warriors guarding the hospital yesterday hands me a breakfast wrap.

“What’s this?”

“Alpha’s orders. He says you haven’t eaten in close to two days,” he says.
