Returning to my office, I tried to focus on my work rather than how James easily ignited something in me with just one gaze. Doesn't he have a wife or something to be bothered about?

I went out with Rosalie during the day to ease up the tension. She had been so worked up about the outcome from the launch, but as soon as she noticed my shaky breath and constant deep breaths, she put down the menu between us and asked if I was okay.
