Ava's POV

The blinding light from the window pierced my eyes open. I ruffled the pillow against my palms before slowly opening my eyes to be greeted by a very appealing scent.

I sat up and tried to recall events from last night in bits. Thankfully, they didn't have much impact on me as they did last night. I just stared at my belly, gathering all my strength from where I left it because I now had a new reason to be strong.
