The hidden coronation

The forest hadn’t spoken since the battle. I watched.

Still. Silent. Judging.

Henry and I had returned to the fortress, but something strange hovered in the air. A hush. A pull. As though the Moon Goddess had one more twist left in her eternal game.

And it started with a letter.
