 We hadn’t spoken to each other for days. Well, technically, I hadn’t spoken to Adrian and did my best to avoid him.

 I either stayed in my room all day or left the house more than necessary, even if I had nowhere to go. I’d either take a walk or go to my office.

 Anything that kept me out of his space. Which explained why I was still locked in my room by past eight in the evening, sleeping.
