Chapter 9

An emergency meeting with the ministers was held in the magnificent palace conference room to discuss the guerrilla attack from the neighboring kingdom, the Kingdom of Malakar, led by General Malakai Valois, Celine's father. But King Raven did not know that General Makalai Valois was his father-in-law. All he knew was that Celine had been an orphan with no parents at all. King Raven immediately began to devise a strategy upon learning this.

“What is happening? Why did the Kingdom of Malakar dare to attack our territory without warning?” asked King Raven, furrowing his brow.

“Your Majesty, we have received reports that Malakar forces have launched guerrilla attacks in the Western Sea and also attacked merchants in the market,” replied the First Minister.

“Guerrilla attacks? This is an act of war! Who is responsible for this attack?” King Raven asked.

“We are still investigating, Your Majesty. However, we have evidence that the Malakar forces who came were led by General Malakar himself, who carried out this attack.” The Second Minister added.

“General Malakar? Who is he? I won't let this happen! We must retaliate and show Malakar our strength!” King Raven decided firmly.

“Your Majesty, we advise against rushing into this. We need to consider our strategy and ensure we are prepared for war.” The Third Minister replied.

"I don't care! We must protect our people and our territory! Prepare the troops, and we will retaliate against Malakar!" King Raven replied.

“Very well, Your Majesty. We will immediately prepare the troops and strategy to retaliate against Malakar.” The First Minister said.

“Do it! I want Malakar to know that we won't just sit idly by in the face of their attack.” Then Assistant Alvin whispered something into King Raven's ear.

“Is this related to the attack on you that night, which injured Queen Kenna's back, Your Majesty?” King Raven thought for a moment.

“That's right, it could be that the one who attacked me that night was an envoy from the Kingdom of Malakar, who is now causing trouble in our kingdom.” King Raven said. Assistant Alvin then widened his eyes in disbelief.

Meanwhile, in Celine's room, Malakai Valois was still talking to his daughter, who had been holding back her emotions since they were in the Main Tower. He looked furious as he slammed his fist on the table.

BRAK!

"How long do I have to pretend to be nice to Kenna, Father? I'm sick of all this. I feel like I want to destroy Kenna using my wolf powers!"

“Calm down, Celine. You must be patient so the results can be maximized. I'm doing something to make King Raven unable to move. Your task is to keep being nice to Kenna until my plan succeeds, understand?” Celine only sighed roughly.

“Just focus on raising Ax, because that's crucial for your future to stay in this palace, Celine.” Mr. Malakai Valois continued.

“Alright, but I can't promise that if your plan takes too long, I'll move forward on my own to destroy everything, especially Kenna.”

“Why is Father wearing battle armor?”

“War is coming, so save Ax and make sure he doesn't get hurt at all. I have to go now!” Malakai Valois said to his daughter.

“Should I leave the palace for now?” Celine wondered. But then she quickly took Ax out of the room as well.

The treacherous plan of the Malakar Kingdom was to use guerrilla attacks to weaken King Raven's forces, then capitalize on the momentum to launch a direct assault on King Raven's palace. By reaching the palace, Malakar hoped to capture or defeat King Raven, thereby gaining control of the Raven Kingdom. That was also the goal of Malakai Valois.

However, there is likely a more cunning plan behind this attack. Malakar has spies or traitors within the Raven Kingdom who are assisting them in this attack. Even the neighboring kingdom, Malakar, has plans to exploit the Raven Kingdom's resources or power after taking control of the palace.

This cunning plan may involve a strategy to divide the Raven King's army, making them easier to defeat. Thus, the Malakar Kingdom can achieve its goals more effectively.

“Soldiers, we must be prepared! The Malakar Kingdom has launched a guerrilla attack and is now heading toward the palace. We must protect our people and our territory!” the Raven King shouted to his troops.

“Yes, Your Majesty! We have prepared our forces to face Malakar. We will divide the forces into three groups to counter their attack.” The Army Commander said.

“Good! I want the first group led by General Thor, the second by General Lila, and the third by myself. We must work together to defeat the Kingdom of Malakar!” King Raven said.

“We are ready, Your Majesty! We will not let Malakar reach the palace!” replied General Thor.

“We will protect our people and our land with all our strength!” replied General Lila.

“I believe in all of you! We must show Malakar our strength and protect what we love. Let us advance!” commanded King Raven.

"Long live King Raven! We will protect our kingdom!" the soldiers said in unison.

The maid who cared for Princess Arya now quietly entered the main tower where the queen was imprisoned. Of course, it was Zyra who guided her. This was, of course, unintentionally discovered by Celine, who was carrying Ax to save herself from the war that would be waged by Celine's father and King Raven.

“Oh, so the Queen had secretly arranged for Princess Aria to meet her in the main tower. I will inform King Raven of this once the war is over, hahaha. Come on, Ax, let's save ourselves first. Let Queen Kenna be the one to face the attack from the Malakar Kingdom, Hahahahaha.” Then Celine left happily.

Meanwhile, inside the main tower where Queen Kenna was imprisoned, the expression of the maid attending to Princess Aria appeared uneasy, unlike usual. This made Queen Kenna, who was playing with Princess Aria, also become uneasy and furrowed her brow.

“What's wrong, Maid Jessica? Why are you so restless?” Kenna asked.

“First, I apologize, Queen Kenna. I shouldn't have said this while you were recovering from your illness,” she replied nervously. Dayang Jessica was afraid that the news she had heard earlier would hurt Queen Kenna.

“What do you mean, Dayang Jessica? I don't understand,” Kenna replied, looking at Aria who was drinking formula milk.

“I heard news that the western sea has been attacked by the neighboring kingdom, the Kingdom of Malakar. And now His Majesty King Raven and his army are preparing for war. I'm just afraid that the Malakar army will attack this palace as well.” Lady Jessica paused, then knelt and bowed before Queen Kenna and Princess Aria.

“I am just afraid that we will all die in this palace, Your Majesty.”

“What! That's impossible!”
