At the door, stood Jeremy and beside him was his wife. What I felt at the moment wasn't guilt, but embarrassment. I'd just been caught, in an open-mouthed kiss with Lucian Moreno in the confines of his office.

I slowly stepped away from Lucian and tucked my hair behind my ears. My eyes went from Lucian to Jeremy and the woman beside him. I wondered what they were doing here.
