Why would he save me?

Wouldn't if I died here as Marry, it would benefit him because he wouldn't have to do anything to break our marriage?

Or is there something else he wants to plan based on his nice actions lately?

Could it be that he wants to give Marry some hardship so the one who breaks the marriage is from Marry's side instead of him?
