She didn't realize that I set her up to surrender to me. She thought I really wanted to work with her and make her queen after I succeeded to the throne. I was just using her as a weapon that I could use to take down Hera.

I deliberately marked her so she couldn't run away from me, so she wouldn't betray me and have to keep doing whatever I wanted. Because once we've bonded, it's hard to break it.
