"Xander, divorce is not that easy for us to do," I said in a very soft voice.

My hands were shaking, my heart was beating wildly. Not because I was excited but because I was digesting the information I had just received. It felt too shocking and unreasonable.

"It's just a misunderstanding and we can straighten it out. There was no need to make such an extreme decision. So there is no divorce or separation. We'll keep our marriage and find a solution to the problem. Okay?"
