“Diana invited me to hang out at the bar earlier, do you want to go there to unwind?” Sandra asked as I lay there on her lap.

Diana was our friend but I wasn’t as close to her as Sandra was. Going to the bar was going to be a good distraction from everything.

I was exhausted but I couldn’t decline any other that would make me forget about my problems, even if it was just temporary.
