My mind went blank as I stood at the doorstep, my hand hesitating over the doorbell. Then suddenly, I felt someone tap my shoulder. 

"Olivia!" I heard my sister's voice call out my name. I was so lost in my thoughts that I didn't even hear her walk up to the door. "Are you okay?" She narrowed her eyes on me. 

I fidgeted with my dress, smoothing out wrinkles that weren't even there. "Yeah, I'm okay." I finally rang the doorbell. "I didn't know you were coming."
