“This has to be some kind of joke, right?” I asked. “You’re insane, maybe even a little crazy, but you’re not stupid. You wouldn’t risk hurting me and documenting it because you know as well as I do that you’d be a dead man or you’d get to spend the rest of your life in prison.”
