I took Hayley to my house.

I knew it was the only place she would get a semblance of privacy. Kate and her mother had gone out for the day meaning we had the entire house to ourselves, at least for a while.

When we pulled up at the gate, Hayley snorted. “Of course you’d bring me here. I thought we were going somewhere different.”
