“What’s going on with her?” My voice came out hollow as I watched the beast now in front of me.

It was her wolf, however, it looked wilder than average.

Talia stayed glued to the spot, unable to move even as the beast lunged in her direction. A scream erupted from her mouth as the wolf slammed into her, dragging her to the ground. Its jaws snapped inches from her throat, foam spilling past bared teeth.
