I kept walking ahead of the group, but I wasn’t really seeing anything around me. All I could see was Ivy standing in front of Alaric’s illusion, her hand on the pendant, her eyes filled with confusion and fear. That moment stayed in my head like it was stuck there on purpose. Every time I blinked, it came back. Every time I breathed, it came back again.
