I take a deep breath before stepping out of my car and onto the pavement. A week after the conversation I had with Stanley, I decide to visit Rose and the kids again.

“Frida!” Rose exclaimed, her face lighting up with joy as she opens the door for me. She stepped aside to let me in. She is carrying one of the quadruplets on her waist, but I couldn’t tell which one.
