I tried talking to Nate, but he didn’t listen to me. He just walked away, leaving me in a bewildered state. I couldn’t believe what just happened. Does Nate not remember me at all?

What was happening to him? I quickly ran after him, to talk to him, but he took long strides, and before I could get to him, he had walked into the gate. I sighed.

“What’s wrong with him?” I asked the Beta, but instead he snubbed me and walked away too.
