I snatched the sheet before Dad could grab it for himself.

His eyes grew dark the way they would if Aiden offended him not me.

"Vale, what do you think you are doing?"

I folded the paper and slipped it into my pocket.

"I'm not letting you handle this on your own, Violet was the one who encountered this red wolf, Aiden and I saved her from him. You can't kick us out and make yourself in charge." I say to him.

He groaned and pulled a hand over his face.
