Fred was waiting outside when my car pulled up; he shouldn't have been standing outside.

Knowing Fred, he'd want to accept full responsibility for the actions of Tabitha and Violet.

As the car came to a stop, Tabitha stepped out to help Violet.

Violet wasn't looking like she was in good shape; I saw what Silver Nightshade did to her. She only strangled her by the neck, which is not enough to make her that weak.
