This was the first time I'll be leaving Fireheart Pack, and it felt nice.

I have always wanted to explore other packs, but not under these circumstances. I wonder how it will be when I get there.

It took longer than I imagined. Neon had already told me that I could stand my ground and tell Dad I don't want to go.

Apart from the consequences, I was actually thrilled to be leaving.
