"Theresa, what are you doing here?" I asked, my hand scratch my neck nervously.

"I could say the same for you, Maya," she replied, "What are you doing here?"

"I uhm told you I would be going to the library to read," I replied.

"Oooh, really?" she pressed, "But library is the opposite direction of where you were coming from."

"Well, I heard some sound, so I went over the other direction to check," I replied.
