I stopped dead in my tracks, and my hands trembled as I read the text message again to make sure I was sure of what I was seeing.

This mysterious number had just admitted that Charles death has to do with me.

I swallowed hard, then turned to see professor Logan still in a conversation with the police officers.

I thought of approaching the police officers, to tell them about the strange text message, but I knew that would involve showing them the first text message.
