Regan's jaw locked as he watched the guy from across the riverbank.

"I'm going over there," he snarled, taking one step forward already.

"No, wait," I grabbed his arm. "Don't be dumb."

Right, Theresa interjected quickly, "We don't know if he's carrying or if he had someone with him. We can't presume anything here."
