Allison’s POV

I woke up with a dull ache in my head, my whole skull banging like someone was slamming a hammer against it from the inside. I sat up, squinting my eyes away from the reach of the sun. I groaned from the slight pain splitting my head as well as the one ripping through my stomach.

I gnashed my teeth hard, hearing them shatter inside of me.

“You are finally awake.” A familiar voice whipped the air around me. Loud, cold, and boisterous.
