No matter how hard I tried to keep her away from my mind, I couldn't. Like a cancer, the thought of her infected my mind, spreading fast, and just couldn't let go of me. I tossed and turned on the bed. What was she doing right now? How was she doing? It's been two days since the incident; was she even okay?

Or has she gone with Henry? I sit up higher on the bed, dragging myself over the pillow so I can peer through the crack of the opened door of the hospital room. I bit back on ...
