I woke up before Liam. The sun had just risen. The warriors were ready to run around our territory.

A warm feeling filled my chest when I saw Liam's calm face. I wouldn't have to wonder when we would sleep together again, and if this would be the first and last time.

I winced. Liam didn't know I was sleeping next to him. What if he felt uncomfortable and distanced himself from me?
