Celeste's POV

I grabbed Levi’s hand as we headed into the forest within our base. Only a select few were permitted to enter. From the outside, it was eerily silent, as though the trees swallowed every sound.

“Alpha. Sir Levi.”

I held my breath and nodded stiffly to the others, who bowed respectfully to Levi and me.
