Nostalgia ran me over like a boulder rolling down the hills as the three of us ran on the sewer. The population of rodents and vermin living under the city scurried away from the disturbance created by our heavy and hurried footsteps.

After Lia killed all of Obsidian’s men, we went out to the streets and slipped under the sewer. This was Lucas’ bright idea of masking Lia’s scent. I wouldn’t have thought of this.
