Annabel's POV

I opened the door and replied, "To the wedding."

He looked pleased and said to me, "I'll gladly take you there."

In a minute, we were on our way to the wedding. I sat quietly in the car and let the wind blow on my face. Each yard away, I kept on hoping that it wasn't true. That something happened and Scott couldn't come home but he wasn't marrying Michelle while making me wait for him and after telling me that he wanted me back.
