Myron's POV

I couldn't mask my surprise when Annabel threw her arms around me in happiness. This would be the first time she's ever hugged me and I did not waste the moment.

I hugged her back too, my trembling hands resting on her thin waist. Just when I was getting lost in her scent and savoring in the hour, she broke away from the hug still looking unbelievably at the documents.

"I can't believe it, Myron!" she shrieked excitedly, "How..how did this happen?"
