When we arrived home I took Samantha into my room and shut the door from behind.

"Scott, are you okay?" Nathan asked from outside.

"Yes."

"You're not attending the interview?? Everyone's gonna be there."

"No, I'm not." I gave a curt reply "I don't want to talk to anyone nor do I want anyone coming to my room. Y'all can go, I'll be good here."

Nathan shrugged, "Oh, okay."
