Myron's POV

I awoke with a start, my heart pounding against my ribcage. I looked to my side and didn't find Natalia. Just then, the shower was turned off and in a minute she stepped out of the bathroom.

"Where are you going so early in the morning?" I asked as I drew the duvet off of me.

"We're to report at the court," she said quietly, "Today is the court case."

"But it won't be holding," I told her, "Scott should have called it off by now."
