"Why were you so confident that Scott would call off the case yesterday?"

He looked shocked by the question but quickly changed his expression. "Well..I heard that his daughter was abducted so I felt that he would prioritize her over the case."

"You heard? From who? It wasn't published on the media. I had no idea that Samantha was abducted."

Myron replied, "Since the case, I have some people keeping tabs on Scott. They must have overheard it and informed me."
