Annabel's POV

I was just stepping out of the conference room when I bumped into Mr Davis. He smiled upon seeing me.

"I thought I could catch up with the meeting, turns out I'm late." he said as he gave me his arm and together we walked out of the company.

"Well with me here, you have nothing to worry about." I told him.

"To be honest I didn't think you would be able to host the meeting," he said, "I mean with the court case and all..I thought you'd rather be bottled up in your room."
