I called out to them, "Wait."

I knew this was a wrong thing to do- letting Scott and the kids make me lose focus on my revenge. But then another part of me was reaching out to my boys, to have them in my arms again, to hear them laugh and watch them play.

It was already hard that I had to give them up for my revenge, perhaps a few hours with them wouldn't hurt?
