"I'm sorry, Mrs Wilson but your blood type is not a complete match to your son's."

I rose to my wobbly feet in a start, not failing to see the shocked look on everyone's faces.

"D-Doctor," I began, "You..you must be mistaken. I am his mother. I gave birth to him, I-"

"I understand how you feel right now, Mrs Wilson but it's your son's life here. He needs blood immediately and yours is not a complete match." the Doctor explained.
