Michelle's POV

The drive home was filled with tension. Annabel did not spare me a glance and kept her head towards the window all through the drive.

Upon getting to the mansion, Scott stopped me in front of the house.

"I will be leaving shortly," he said, "I'm glad that you're here, at least you'll be able to look after her for me."

I shook my head, "I can't. I doubt she would even listen to me. You have to stay."

"Mich, Myron won't allow it. It's his house, and," he sighed in pain, ...
