Michelle's POV

I paused upon hearing the voice. Turning abruptly, I found Myron by the door and the cheerfulness on his face had vanished.

My eyes widened. Did he hear my words?

"Myron.." I paused, "You..you.. didn't you say you were heading home?"

He stepped into the room, "I forgot my car key and I heard you clearly, Michelle."
