"Where are we going?" I asked the lady that Kade had asked to accompany me.

"To the pack healer." She responded nonchalantly.

I couldn't help but pick up the boredom in her tone. She might not have wanted it to come out, but there was also some passive aggressiveness from just the way she didn't even bother to look at me.

As we walked towards the enormous castle that was the pack house, she didn't even bother to check if I was following her.
