The glass building towered over me, cold and shiny, reflecting the morning sun. My stomach churned with nerves. I had been pacing outside for what felt like forever, phone in hand, trying to get up the courage.

 This was Daniel Walter's office, and I was here to ask him for a favor. A big one.
