Daniel's POV

The MRI machine hummed loudly, a constant buzzing sound that shook my whole body. 

I had been doing tests for weeks. 

Doctors kept giving each other worried looks, talking quietly where I couldn't quite hear them. 

It started small: a cough that wouldn't go away, trouble breathing that I blamed on stress, then a huge tiredness that even lots of sleep couldn't fix. 

I just kept going. 

Until I couldn't.
