“Aurora, Aurora, wake up, wake up!”

I slowly opened my eyes, blinking against the morning light spilling through the window. The sun had already risen. For a moment, I just lay there, staring blankly at the ceiling. It had been weeks now, and still I couldn’t figure out why my name kept echoing in my dreams. The voice was always Laura’s, I was sure of it, but no matter how hard I tried, I never saw her face.
