I felt something wet and sloppy dragging across my cheek over and over. Slowly, I blinked my eyes open and froze, a wolf was licking my face.

“Eww…” I muttered, shifting my head away. “Stop it,” I managed to say, my voice weak.

I pushed myself up from the floor, heart thumping. In front of me sat a huge black wolf with glowing red eyes. I gasped, curling my knees to my chest.
