Lucian POV

I woke up in a situation I had never imagined in my life. I was naked with a strange woman who was my wife. I tried to remember what happened last night. My memory centered on the turmoil that was so great. Not me, but Zayn, my wolf. He controlled me until I walked into the room and pushed this woman. We made out, we got naked, and then we... ahh. Damn it! Why can't I control myself?

I pushed away the woman's hands that were holding me. Damn it. I remember the sound of her sighing last night. I saw a red spot on the bed sheet. My forehead wrinkles. Is she still a virgin? I knew she had a boyfriend. Has she never had sex? So, I'm the first to get her virginity? I don't know if I should be happy or not.

I picked up my clothes scattered on the floor and put them back on. Then I heard the sound of moaning and breathing from the bed. She's awake. When I looked over, she looked confused.

"Forget what happened last night. It won't happen again. Mate made me lose control," I said.

She looked at me, confused. Seriously. Doesn't she understand what we did last night? Even though it was her first time, I must admit it was an amazing experience.

I couldn't bear to look at her naked body. Doesn't she have any shame? I've set clear boundaries about this marital relationship. This is all because of Garry, my Gamma. He is the advisor in this Pack. He told me there was nothing wrong with marrying Alpha Kentz's daughter. Garry said that I needed an heir to continue this Pack. I told Garry I could sleep with any woman if I just wanted an heir, but those wolves would protest if I chose just any woman to be Luna.

"Is this the real of you?" The woman finally spoke.

"I told you, our relationship is an agreement between me and your dad. Nothing more than that."

I turned to the woman. Oh, shit. She actually stood up. I quickly took the blanket and covered her all over.

"Aren't you embarrassed at all?" I asked.

"You are my husband. Why should I be embarrassed? We had sex last night."

"That was a mistake. It was the mate bond that suddenly controlled me. Don't expect me to do that again."

The woman looked disappointed. Why? Didn't I hear that she was also against this arranged marriage? Why is she disappointed?

"I don't understand why you're being cruel to me. Even though it's an arranged marriage, we're mates and married..."

I laughed. She was too bold for a young girl who knew nothing. That is not what my Beta said. She is not a submissive girl who has a gentle and elegant nature. Instead, she looks like a stubborn and challenging girl. Well, at least it wouldn't be boring.

"Didn't you reject this arranged marriage before? Why did you suddenly change your mind? Did you fall in love with me after seeing me at the altar?"

I waited for her answer. It was obvious that she rejected the arranged marriage. After my meeting with Alpha Kentz to discuss the alliance with his pack, she personally sent me a letter. She said she had a lover that she loved, so she didn't agree to the marriage.

"I just don't want to disappoint my dad," she replied.

What kind of answer is this? Is she trying to look like a daughter who would do anything for her parents? I don't care. I have my own business too.

"Whatever," I said. "I already said this marriage means nothing to me. So, you just need to obey the rules of the packhouse. Other than that, do whatever you want, and don't interfere with anything I do."

I couldn't linger here, even though the blanket had covered her body, but still, in my mind, her naked body was ringing. I quickly left the room. I headed to my private room. This sucks. I really regret not being able to control myself.

"Alpha, you look very energetic this morning," Maxim greeted me as he handed me a cup of warm drink I had to consume every morning.

I glanced sharply at Maxim, who was smiling.

"Are you kidding, Maxim? My wolf controls me! I can't go against his will!"

"Have you found her yet?"

"What?"

"Your mate?”

I didn't say anything. Last night, before I went into Nadine's room, I had argued with Maxim that the strange feeling I felt had nothing to do with the mate. I denied it, but Maxim insisted that it was the mate bond.

"So, that's right. She is your mate. You've finally found her," Maxim said and smiled.

"Shut your mouth. That doesn't mean anything! She's just a woman sold to protect her father's Pack."

"But she will be your helper, Alpha. She is your Luna now."

"That's just a myth, Maxim. You have too much faith in Garry's words."

Maxim handed me the cup he had brought. Without waiting long, I downed it all at once. I handed back the empty cup.

"See, nothing happened," Maxim said.

I was suspicious of my Beta's attitude. "What do you mean, Maxim?"

"That's not your usual potion, Alpha. It's just a tea. You didn't feel the pain you're used to. That's because you've met your mate. Your mate, Alpha, completely broke the curse."

"What?"

I stared at the empty cup. I didn't believe in myths, but the wolves and packhouse members believed that there was a curse in my blood caused by my dad's mistake. That's why I had trouble meeting my mate. The wolves here were so frustrated that they asked me to find my mate and break the curse. They were worried that I wouldn't be able to have offspring and that this pack would lose its existence.

"I still feel dizzy," I said.

"Really?" Maxim was disappointed. He touched my forehead. "It should have worked.

I lied. I don't have a headache. There was no pain that I used to feel every morning.

While we were chatting. Suddenly, Nadine walked into the room. She was wearing a short red dress. Her chest was exposed, so I could see her breasts poking out in a sexy way. Zayn struggled. Moreover, Nadine's lips were naturally red. It made my feelings stir this morning.

"Excuse me. Would you like to have breakfast with me?"

This is fucking crazy. Why does that woman have such a powerful attraction? I've never felt this way about another woman before.
