“What the hell are you doing here!”

A deep voice, calm yet gripping, suddenly wrapped around my arm, making me shiver. I turned, and Maxime’s face appeared out of nowhere like a glitch. Tears instantly streamed down my cheeks. My body went weak in an instant. I let go of the bridge railing, and I stumbled.
